BioX — গোপনীয়তা নীতি

১. ভূমিকা

BioX (প্যাকেজ আইডি: com.jafor.biologyapp) একটি শিক্ষামূলক অ্যান্ড্রয়েড অ্যাপ, যা বাংলাদেশের এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি পর্যায়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের জীববিজ্ঞান শেখার জন্য তৈরি। অ্যাপটি তৈরি ও পরিচালনা করেন মোঃ জাফর তালুকদার, লালমোহন, ভোলা, বাংলাদেশ।

এই নীতিতে বলা হয়েছে আমরা কী তথ্য নিই, কেন নিই, কার সাথে ভাগ করি এবং আপনি কীভাবে তা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারেন। অ্যাপটি ব্যবহার করলে আপনি এই নীতিতে সম্মতি দিচ্ছেন বলে ধরা হবে।

২. আমরা কী কী তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি

ক) আপনি নিজে যা দেন

BioX ব্যবহার করতে হলে গুগল অ্যাকাউন্ট দিয়ে সাইন-ইন করা বাধ্যতামূলক — এটিই অ্যাপে ঢোকার একমাত্র উপায়। সাইন-ইন করার সময় আপনার গুগল প্রোফাইল থেকে আমরা পাই:

• আপনার নাম
• আপনার ইমেইল ঠিকানা
• আপনার প্রোফাইল ছবির লিংক
• একটি অ্যাকাউন্ট শনাক্তকারী (UID)

আপনার গুগল পাসওয়ার্ড আমরা কখনো দেখি না বা পাই না — পুরো যাচাইটা গুগল নিজেই করে।

ছবি: কেবল শিক্ষক/অ্যাডমিন যখন প্রশ্ন বা শিটে ছবি যোগ করেন, তখন আপনার অনুমতি নিয়ে গ্যালারি বা ক্যামেরা থেকে ছবি নেওয়া হয়। সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থীর কাছে কখনো ছবি চাওয়া হয় না।

খ) অ্যাপ ব্যবহারের সময় স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে যা তৈরি হয়

• পরীক্ষার ফল: কোন প্রশ্নের উত্তর সঠিক/ভুল/বাদ, প্রাপ্ত নম্বর, কত সময় লেগেছে।
• ব্যবহারকারী গণনা: মোট কতজন অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করছেন তা জানতে একটি ডিভাইস-শনাক্তকারী সংখ্যা রাখা হয়। এটি দিয়ে আপনার ব্যক্তিগত পরিচয় জানা যায় না।
• ক্র্যাশ রিপোর্ট (Firebase Crashlytics): অ্যাপ হঠাৎ বন্ধ হয়ে গেলে ডিভাইসের মডেল, অ্যান্ড্রয়েড সংস্করণ, অ্যাপের সংস্করণ ও ত্রুটির কারিগরি বিবরণ পাঠানো হয় — যাতে সমস্যাটি সারানো যায়।
• ব্যবহারের পরিসংখ্যান (Firebase Analytics): কোন স্ক্রিন কতবার খোলা হলো — এ ধরনের সাধারণ পরিসংখ্যান।

গ-১) Bio-AI শিক্ষক (AI প্রশ্নোত্তর)

আপনি Bio-AI শিক্ষককে যে প্রশ্ন লেখেন, তা (আগের সর্বোচ্চ ২টি প্রশ্নোত্তরসহ) উত্তর তৈরির জন্য আমাদের সার্ভার (Cloudflare) হয়ে OpenAI-এর কাছে পাঠানো হয়। প্রশ্নের সাথে আপনার নাম বা ইমেইল পাঠানো হয় না। দৈনিক কতটি প্রশ্ন করেছেন তা গুনতে শুধু আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট শনাক্তকারী (UID) ও সংখ্যাটি আমাদের সার্ভারে রাখা হয় — প্রশ্ন বা উত্তরের লেখা আমরা সংরক্ষণ করি না। অনুগ্রহ করে প্রশ্নে নিজের বা অন্যের ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য লিখবেন না।

গ-২) বিজ্ঞাপন (Google AdMob)

অ্যাপের খরচ চালাতে Google AdMob-এর মাধ্যমে বিজ্ঞাপন দেখানো হয়। বিজ্ঞাপনগুলো শিশু-নির্দেশিত (child-directed) ও অ-ব্যক্তিগতকৃত হিসেবে চাওয়া হয় এবং সর্বোচ্চ কনটেন্ট রেটিং "G" — অর্থাৎ আপনার আচরণ দেখে বিজ্ঞাপন বাছাই করা হয় না। বিজ্ঞাপন দেখানোর জন্য AdMob ডিভাইসের সাধারণ তথ্য (যেমন ডিভাইসের ধরন, আইপি ঠিকানা) প্রক্রিয়া করতে পারে। Bio-AI শিক্ষকে বাড়তি প্রশ্ন পেতে কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন দেখা সম্পূর্ণ ঐচ্ছিক।

গ-৩) ইনস্টল পরিমাপ (Meta / Facebook SDK)

আমরা Facebook-এ BioX-এর প্রচার চালাতে পারি। কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন দেখে অ্যাপ ইনস্টল হয়েছে কি না জানতে অ্যাপে Meta (Facebook) SDK আছে, যা শুধু "অ্যাপ ইনস্টল/খোলা হয়েছে" ঘটনা ও ডিভাইসের সাধারণ কারিগরি তথ্য (যেমন আইপি ঠিকানা, ডিভাইসের ধরন) Meta-কে পাঠায়। আমরা Meta-কে আপনার নাম, ইমেইল, পরীক্ষার ফল, Bio-AI-এর প্রশ্ন বা অন্য কোনো ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য পাঠাই না। বিজ্ঞাপন-শনাক্তকারী (Advertising ID) সংগ্রহ বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে এবং এই তথ্য দিয়ে ব্যক্তিগতকৃত বিজ্ঞাপন দেখানো হয় না।

গ) প্রতিযোগিতা (Battle Mode) চলাকালে

একই রুমে থাকা অন্য প্রতিযোগীরা আপনার নাম, প্রোফাইল ছবি, প্রাপ্ত নম্বর, সঠিক-ভুল-বাদের সংখ্যা এবং সময় দেখতে পান। এটি প্রতিযোগিতার লিডারবোর্ডের অপরিহার্য অংশ। আপনার ইমেইল ঠিকানা কখনোই অন্য প্রতিযোগীদের দেখানো হয় না।

ঘ) আমরা যা কখনোই সংগ্রহ করি না

• আপনার ফোন নম্বর, বাসার ঠিকানা বা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের তথ্য
• আপনার অবস্থান (GPS/লোকেশন)
• আপনার কন্টাক্ট তালিকা, এসএমএস, কল লগ বা মাইক্রোফোন
• কোনো আর্থিক বা পেমেন্ট সংক্রান্ত তথ্য
• আপনার গুগল পাসওয়ার্ড
• আপনার আঙুলের ছাপ। অ্যাডমিন প্যানেলে ঢোকার জন্য ফিঙ্গারপ্রিন্ট যাচাই ব্যবহার হলেও, সেটি সম্পূর্ণভাবে আপনার ফোনের অপারেটিং সিস্টেম করে থাকে। ফোন শুধু "হ্যাঁ/না" জানায় — আঙুলের ছাপ অ্যাপে আসে না, কোথাও পাঠানোও হয় না।

৩. কেন এই তথ্য নেওয়া হয়

• আপনাকে অ্যাকাউন্টে ঢোকানো ও আপনার অগ্রগতি সংরক্ষণ করতে
• প্রতিযোগিতার লিডারবোর্ডে আপনার নাম ও ছবি দেখাতে
• অ্যাপের ত্রুটি খুঁজে বের করে সারাতে
• কতজন শিক্ষার্থী অ্যাপটি ব্যবহার করছেন তা বুঝে কনটেন্ট উন্নত করতে
• অপব্যবহার ও প্রতারণা (চিটিং) ঠেকাতে

আমরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য ব্যক্তিগতকৃত বিজ্ঞাপনের কাজে ব্যবহার করি না এবং কারও কাছে বিক্রি বা ভাড়া দিই না।

৪. কাদের সাথে তথ্য ভাগ করা হয়

আমরা নিচের সেবাদাতাদের ব্যবহার করি। এরা নিজেদের গোপনীয়তা নীতি অনুযায়ী তথ্য পরিচালনা করে:

এ ছাড়া আইনগত বাধ্যবাধকতা থাকলে (যেমন আদালতের আদেশ) আমরা তথ্য প্রকাশ করতে বাধ্য হতে পারি।

৫. তথ্য কোথায় থাকে

অ্যাপের ডেটা Google Firebase-এর সিঙ্গাপুর (asia-southeast1) অঞ্চলের সার্ভারে সংরক্ষিত হয়। অর্থাৎ আপনার তথ্য বাংলাদেশের বাইরে প্রক্রিয়াকরণ ও সংরক্ষণ হতে পারে। অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করে আপনি এই আন্তর্জাতিক স্থানান্তরে সম্মতি দিচ্ছেন।

৬. কতদিন তথ্য রাখা হয়

• প্রতিযোগিতার রুম ও ফলাফল: পরীক্ষা শেষ হওয়ার প্রায় ২ মিনিট পর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যায়। কারও নম্বর সার্ভারে স্থায়ীভাবে থাকে না।
• অ্যাকাউন্টের তথ্য: আপনি অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ না করা পর্যন্ত থাকে।
• ক্র্যাশ ও পরিসংখ্যান: Firebase-এর নিজস্ব নিয়ম অনুযায়ী (সাধারণত সর্বোচ্চ ১৪ মাস) স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যায়।
• ফোনের ভেতরের ক্যাশ: আপনি অ্যাপ আনইনস্টল করলে বা সেটিংস থেকে ক্যাশ পরিষ্কার করলেই মুছে যায়।

৭. অ্যাকাউন্ট ও তথ্য মুছে ফেলার উপায়

ক) অ্যাপের ভেতর থেকে (সবচেয়ে সহজ)

আপনি নিজেই যেকোনো সময় অ্যাপ থেকে অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলতে পারেন:

1. অ্যাপ খুলুন → "অ্যাকাউন্ট ও গোপনীয়তা" স্ক্রিনে যান
2. নিচে "অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন" বোতামে চাপুন
3. কী কী মুছবে তা পড়ে নিশ্চিত করুন
4. নিরাপত্তার জন্য একবার গুগল দিয়ে সাইন-ইন করে নিজেকে যাচাই করুন

এতে সাথে সাথেই মুছে যায়: আপনার নাম, ইমেইল, প্রোফাইল ছবি, আপনার BioX অ্যাকাউন্ট এবং ফোনে জমানো সব তথ্য।

খ) ইমেইলের মাধ্যমে

অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করতে না পারলে sarafatjafor@gmail.com-এ ইমেইল করুন, বিষয় (Subject) লিখুন "BioX — অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ"। অনুরোধ পাওয়ার ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে আমরা তা সম্পন্ন করে আপনাকে জানাব।

গ) যা সাথে সাথে মোছা হয় না

• চলমান প্রতিযোগিতার নম্বর: প্রতিযোগিতার নিরপেক্ষতা রক্ষার জন্য জমা দেওয়া নম্বর পরে আর বদলানো বা মোছা যায় না। তবে পুরো রুমটিই পরীক্ষা শেষের প্রায় ২ মিনিট পর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যায় — এরপর কোথাও কিছু থাকে না।
• ব্যবহারকারী গণনার সংখ্যা: "কতটি ডিভাইসে অ্যাপ চলেছে" — এই গণনাটি থেকে যায়। এটি আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট, নাম বা ইমেইলের সাথে যুক্ত নয়, তাই এ থেকে আপনাকে চেনার উপায় নেই।
• ক্র্যাশ রিপোর্ট: Firebase Crashlytics-এর নিজস্ব নিয়মে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যায়।

৮. শিশু ও কিশোর-কিশোরীদের গোপনীয়তা

BioX মূলত মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পর্যায়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য তৈরি, যাদের একটি বড় অংশ ১৮ বছরের কম বয়সী।

• অ্যাপে ঢুকতে গুগল অ্যাকাউন্ট লাগে। গুগলের নিজস্ব নিয়ম অনুযায়ী অ্যাকাউন্ট খুলতে সর্বনিম্ন বয়স থাকতে হয় (বাংলাদেশে ১৩ বছর)। ফলে আমরা ১৩ বছরের কম বয়সী কারও কাছ থেকে ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি না।
• ১৮ বছরের কম বয়সী ব্যবহারকারীদের অভিভাবকের অনুমতি নিয়ে অ্যাপটি ব্যবহার করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়।
• শিশু যদি অভিভাবকের গুগল অ্যাকাউন্ট দিয়ে সাইন-ইন করে, তবে সেই অ্যাকাউন্টের নাম ও ছবিই প্রতিযোগিতায় দেখাবে — অভিভাবকদের এ বিষয়ে সচেতন থাকার অনুরোধ।
• কোনো অভিভাবক যদি জানতে পারেন তাঁর ১৩ বছরের কম বয়সী সন্তান আমাদের কাছে তথ্য দিয়েছে, অনুগ্রহ করে sarafatjafor@gmail.com-এ জানান — আমরা দ্রুত তা মুছে ফেলব।

অ্যাপে কোনো কেনাকাটা নেই। যে বিজ্ঞাপন দেখানো হয় তা শিশু-নির্দেশিত ও অ-ব্যক্তিগতকৃত — শিশুদের লক্ষ্য করে কোনো আচরণভিত্তিক ট্র্যাকিং নেই।

৯. নিরাপত্তা

• সব যোগাযোগ HTTPS/TLS দিয়ে এনক্রিপ্ট করা।
• ডেটাবেসে কড়া নিরাপত্তা নিয়ম (Security Rules) বসানো — একজন ব্যবহারকারী কেবল নিজের তথ্যই লিখতে পারেন, অন্যের ফলাফল বদলাতে পারেন না।
• পরীক্ষার ফল একবার জমা হলে আর বদলানো যায় না।
• অ্যাডমিন প্যানেল ফিঙ্গারপ্রিন্ট/স্ক্রিন-লক দিয়ে সুরক্ষিত।

তবু ইন্টারনেটে কোনো ব্যবস্থাই শতভাগ নিরাপদ নয় — আমরা যুক্তিসঙ্গত সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করি, কিন্তু নিখুঁত নিরাপত্তার নিশ্চয়তা দিতে পারি না।

১০. আপনার অধিকার

• আপনার সম্পর্কে আমরা কী তথ্য রেখেছি তা জানতে চাওয়ার অধিকার
• ভুল তথ্য সংশোধন করার অধিকার
• তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ করার অধিকার
• সম্মতি প্রত্যাহার করে অ্যাপ ব্যবহার বন্ধ করার অধিকার

যেকোনো অনুরোধের জন্য নিচের ঠিকানায় যোগাযোগ করুন।

১১. এই নীতির পরিবর্তন

প্রয়োজনে এই নীতি হালনাগাদ করা হতে পারে। উল্লেখযোগ্য পরিবর্তন হলে অ্যাপের ভেতরে বা এই পাতায় জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে এবং উপরের "কার্যকর তারিখ" বদলে যাবে।

1. Introduction

BioX (package ID: com.jafor.biologyapp) is an educational Android application built to help SSC and HSC level students in Bangladesh study biology. The app is developed and operated by MD JAFOR TALUKDER, Lalmohan, Bhola, Bangladesh.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can control it. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

Signing in with a Google account is required to use BioX — it is the only way to access the app. When you sign in, we receive the following from your Google profile:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your profile photo URL
• An account identifier (UID)

We never see or receive your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google.

Photos: accessed from your gallery or camera, with your permission, only when a teacher or administrator adds an image to a question or study sheet. Students are never asked for photos.

b) Information generated while using the app

• Exam results: which answers were correct, wrong, or skipped; your score; and how long you took.
• User counts: a device identifier is stored so we can count how many people use the app. It does not reveal your personal identity.
• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): device model, Android version, app version, and technical error details, sent when the app stops unexpectedly.
• Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics): general statistics such as which screens are opened.

b-1) Bio-AI Teacher (AI questions and answers)

The questions you type to Bio-AI Teacher (together with up to the two previous questions and answers) are sent through our server (Cloudflare) to OpenAI to generate an answer. Your name and email are not sent with the question. To count how many questions you ask per day, only your account identifier (UID) and the count are stored on our server — we do not store the text of questions or answers. Please do not include personal information in your questions.

b-2) Advertising (Google AdMob)

To cover running costs, the app shows advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad requests are tagged as child-directed and non-personalized with a maximum content rating of "G", so ads are not selected based on your behavior. To serve ads, AdMob may process general device information (such as device type and IP address). Watching an ad to receive extra Bio-AI questions is entirely optional.

b-3) Install measurement (Meta / Facebook SDK)

We may promote BioX on Facebook. To learn whether an install came from an ad, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which sends Meta only the event that the app was installed or opened, together with general technical device information (such as IP address and device type). We do not send Meta your name, email, exam results, Bio-AI questions or any other personal information. Advertising-identifier (Advertising ID) collection is turned off, and this data is not used to show you personalized ads.

c) During Battle Mode (multiplayer)

Other competitors in the same room can see your name, profile photo, score, correct/wrong/skipped counts, and finishing time. This is essential to the leaderboard. Your email address is never shown to other players.

d) What we never collect

• Phone number, home address, or national ID details
• Your location (GPS)
• Contacts, SMS messages, call logs, or microphone audio
• Any financial or payment information
• Your Google password
• Your fingerprint. Although fingerprint verification is used to unlock the admin panel, this is performed entirely by your device's operating system. The device returns only a yes/no result; the fingerprint itself never reaches the app and is never transmitted.

3. Why We Collect It

• To sign you in and save your progress
• To show your name and photo on competition leaderboards
• To find and fix crashes and errors
• To understand how many students use the app and improve the content
• To prevent abuse and cheating

We do not use your personal information for personalized advertising, and we never sell or rent it.

4. Who We Share It With

We use the following service providers, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy: Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, Analytics), Google Sign-In, ImgBB (image hosting for question and sheet images), Google Fonts (your IP address is visible when fonts are downloaded), Google Play (in-app review prompts), Cloudflare Workers (relays Bio-AI questions and counts daily usage), OpenAI (generates Bio-AI answers from your question, without your name or email; OpenAI may retain API data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use it to train models), Google AdMob (child-directed, non-personalized ads), and the Meta (Facebook) SDK (counts installs from our Facebook promotions only).

We may also disclose information where required by law, such as under a valid court order.

5. Where Data Is Stored

App data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the Singapore (asia-southeast1) region. Your information may therefore be processed and stored outside Bangladesh. By using the app you consent to this international transfer.

6. How Long We Keep It

• Competition rooms and results: automatically deleted roughly 2 minutes after a match ends. Scores are not permanently stored on the server.
• Account information: retained until you request deletion.
• Crash and analytics data: deleted automatically under Firebase's own retention rules (typically up to 14 months).
• On-device cache: removed when you clear the cache in app settings or uninstall the app.

7. Deleting Your Account and Data

a) From inside the app (easiest)

1. Open the app and go to "Account & Privacy"
2. Tap "Delete account" at the bottom
3. Review what will be deleted and confirm
4. Sign in with Google once to verify your identity

This immediately deletes your name, email address, profile photo, your BioX account, and all data stored on your device.

b) By email

If you cannot use the app, email sarafatjafor@gmail.com with the subject "BioX — Account Deletion Request". We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm once it is done.

c) What is not deleted immediately

• Scores from an ongoing competition: to keep competitions fair, a submitted score cannot be changed or removed. However, the entire room is deleted automatically about 2 minutes after the match ends, after which nothing remains.
• Aggregate device counts: the count of devices that have run the app is retained. It is not linked to your account, name, or email, and cannot be used to identify you.
• Crash reports: deleted automatically under Firebase Crashlytics' own retention rules.

8. Children's and Teenagers' Privacy

BioX is designed for secondary and higher-secondary students, many of whom are under 18.

• A Google account is required to use the app. Google's own rules impose a minimum age for holding an account (13 in Bangladesh), so we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
• Users under 18 are advised to use the app with a parent's or guardian's permission.
• If a child signs in using a parent's Google account, that account's name and photo will be shown in competitions. Parents should be aware of this.
• If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact sarafatjafor@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

The app contains no purchases. The ads shown are child-directed and non-personalized — there is no behavioral ad tracking directed at children.

9. Security

All communication is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Strict database Security Rules ensure a user can write only their own data and cannot alter another person's results; exam results are write-once and cannot be changed after submission; the admin panel is protected by fingerprint or screen-lock authentication. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request deletion, and to withdraw consent by discontinuing use of the app. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
